Curated from the Museum of Contemporary Photography's own collection, Captured Earth features works by artists that use elements from nature in their art. Working with these elements they explore the material and mystical qualities of the land and its ecology. The exhibition depicts a wide range of uses and methods in photography. This includes documentation of performance art, experimentation in developing film, as well as featuring one of Meghann Riepenhoff's signature cyanotypes.
