The China Europe International Business School's (CEIBS) Beijing campus presents 1994: Day to Day Spectacle for their 30th Anniversay Art Exhibition. The exhibition focuses on artwork made in 1994, the year that CEIBS was founded, and is divided into two sections, Ordinaries in Apartment and Urban Spectacles. Zhan Wang is among the 14 artists in the exhibition falling under the Urban Sepctacles theme. In contrast to apartment art, there was a surge in urban-themed artistic creation in 1994. Zhan Wang's performance art 94 Clean Ruins shows him redecorating and washing half demolished buildings.
