Los Angeles-based artist Won Ju Lim investigates liminal spaces through sculpture, installation, light and shadow. Incorporating layered references to early 20th century architecture, literature, and film, Lim’s multi-faceted installations consider the role of memory in our experience of built environments.
In conjunction with Castings, a 15-year survey of her work now on view at Sacramento State's University Galleries, Lim joins independent curator Cassandra Coblentz in conversation at the university's Union.
