Jointly presented by the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and Afrian American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP), Rising Sun: Artists in An Uncertain America, an exhibition the themes, issues, and realities of the question is the sun rising or setting on the experiment of American democracy. The exhibition features works by 20 artists across the two museums, including Shiva Ahmadi and La Vaughn Belle.
Ahmadi and Belle will be taking part in a panel discussion, part of the Rising Sun Artist/Curator series, hosted by the AAMP.
