Andy Goldsworthy returns to the Gassendi Museum in Digne-les-Baines for a new solo exhibition, Retour sur un travail solitaire (Back to Solitary Work). Since Goldsworthy’s first exhibition at the museum in 1994, the UK sculptor has transformed the landscape of Haute-Provence by creating a series of permanent works in the region’s abandoned villages. Marking the occasion, Goldsworthy has donated 40 original drawings to the Gassendi Museum, to accompany the opening of his exhibition.
